Hardin County Pet Protection – Pet Pros Spay and Neuter Clinic

Hardin County Pet Protection is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1988 with the goal of reducing the pet overpopulation problem in Hardin and surrounding rural Kentucky counties.
The Pet Pros/FOHCAS SNAP Clinic provides spay and neuter surgery for pets belonging to low income families as well as homeless pets being cared for by shelters and foster care programs while they wait for their forever family. Our clinic features vital sign monitoring, isoflurane gas anesthesia and the use of sterile surgical techniques.  Our caring staff, lead by Dr. Consuela Reinhart, is dedicated to providing your pet with top-notch spay/neuter surgery.  Approved low income clients are responsible for paying a portion of the cost for their pet’s surgery.  The remainder of the cost is paid for by the combined fund-raising efforts of Buried Treasure Thrift Shop, Hardin County Pet Protection and Friends of Hardin County Animal Shelter.  Please join us in our combined efforts  toward a healthier, happier animal community!

If your family would like to apply for an appointment, please visit the Friends of Hardin County Animal Shelter (FOHCAS) web site to complete an application.  Printed applications are also available on the front porch of the Pet Pros/FOHCAS SNAP Clinic.
