Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. If you are interested in adoption and know who you want, just fill out our handy Adoption Application!
The YOUNGEST age we will adopt out is three months, as that is our minimum spay/neuter age. NO pets are adopted from the Animal Refuge Center until AFTER they are spayed or neutered.
Our adoption fee for cats is just $60.00 or $85 for dogs, for a pet that is already spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots, saving you hundreds of dollars in post-adoption veterinarian fees! Our cats have been tested for FeLV and FIV and are negative unless stated otherwise in their bios.

|DID YOU KNOW? If you cannot adopt a pet but would still like to help, now you can sponsor a pet from here! Browse the homeless pets below, decide which you would like to sponsor and begin your sponsorship today.||
You can either opt to allow us to select a particular pet in need for your sponsorship, or make your

We have received numerous requests on this page requesting that we take pets that have been found. We are presently as overrun with pets as anyone else and are unable to accept any at this time.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT REQUESTS TO PLACE PETS AT OUR SHELTER ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE CALL 270-877-6064 FOR SPACE AVAILABILITY.
More resources for placing abandoned or orphaned pets will be added to Spay/Neuter and Placement Resources. I also want to take this time to reiterate that we cannot accept homeless pets from out of state! Consult your local agencies for placement.
