The YOUNGEST age we will adopt out is three months, as that is our minimum spay/neuter age. NO pets are adopted from the Animal Refuge Center until AFTER they are spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee for cats is just $60.00 or $85 for dogs, for a pet that is already spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots, saving you hundreds of dollars in post-adoption veterinarian fees! Our cats have been tested for FeLV and FIV and are negative unless stated otherwise in their bios.

This gorgeous 7 month old kitten known as Kiki has been at our rescue for a little over a month now and she is such a delight! Kiki along with her sister Nikki, are both simply little bundles of love. Kiki is constantly seeking out both treats and attentions and it can be hard to want to get any work done when she is around. Though Kiki loves her sister a lot, she also loves all the other kitties she's had the chance to meet, so it isn't necessary that the two get adopted together, but it is something to consider. WARNING! Sugar is addicting! This beautiful tuxedo girl is intelligent, affectionate, and talkative. She was rescued from the streets to have her babies in April. Always purring, Sugar will sprawl on top of you, look right at you with her big green eyes, and carry on a conversation. She would be a perfect companion for a person with anxiety or a faithful friend to a lonely person. This girl has put on some weight since she had her babies and slowed down on her exercise. A diet food will be helpful. Sugar has no problems with dogs, but she doesn't like some cats. This is a courtesy post, Sugar is not at our rescue nor does she have any adoption fee, however a small donation made to the Animal Refuge Center is appreciated at time of pick up. Mesquite comes from an area in Hardin County and was one of many cats, including the recently adopted Phineas and Ferb, who were just thrown out on the streets by family members when an elderly woman passed away. If not for a kind neighbor, who stepped in and started feeding them, it's hard to know what may have happened to them. Mesquite was trapped and brought to ARC and since arriving at our rescue this sweet boy has become very popular among the volunteers and workers. Mesquite is as affectionate with us, as he is other kitties and in his short time here, he has become best friends with Jarvis another recent arrival. You can see the two of them pictured together, but even though they enjoy each others company they are both very social and do not need to be adopted together. Mesquite will be happiest in a home with another kitty and desires loads of attention. Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. You may have recently seen this beautiful young lady at Feeders Supply in Elizabethtown with her buddy Ozzie, she goes by the name of Ember. She originally came to us as a rescue from Hardin County Animal Shelter and was a pretty shy kitten at that time. These days, this six month old is pure love and she gets along with every kitty she meets. Ember is the type of kitty that wants to curl up with another cat so she will certainly be happiest in a home with another kitty. When it comes to people she loves us all and could be very happy in a home with children or as a child's pet. Somehow Ember has been getting overlooked as she watches newer younger kittens go out the door before her. She's not ready to consider herself an old maid just yet and hopes that you or someone you know may consider her. Eclipse is a petite, black and white, 1 year old, who is Feline Leukemia (FeLV) Positive and she is the newest member in our Leukemia Room. This girl likes being picked up and receiving hugs as well as giving smooches on the check. She is very affectionate and always wants to be where the people are. Eclipse really enjoys listening to music and currently her favorite band is Pink Floyd which is kinda fitting with her name being what it is. In fact, you may just catch her dancing along to the radio, but don't worry she doesn't get embarrassed easily. Eclipse gets along well with all her roommates and would be happiest in a home where she isn't the only pet. Because Eclipse is FeLV Positive she can only be around other FeLV Positive kitties. FeLV cats need to live INDOORS ONLY and can only spread the virus to other cats. She would make a perfect addition to your home if you have no other kitties or if the ones you have are also FeLV Positive. We can sometimes offer special discounts if interested in more than 1 of our FeLV Positive cats. We are always happy to show you any of our special needs animals and please don't hesitate to ask us any questions you may have about them. Willow is a sassy thing and that's not bad. She reminds us of a couple of our favorite black kitties from recent past and she's kinda a greatest hits version, taking some of their best qualities as well as being uniquely her own as well. This sweet young girl is a talker and a lap-kitty and before you know it, she's in your lap and you're going to hear all about whatever's on her mind. Willow gets along well with cats and dogs and will do well in a home that already has some pets, but may get bored being an only pet. Diva is a 2 year old, 50 pound, Black Labrador Retriever mix, who's just a bundle of energy. Like all true Labrador Retrievers, Diva just loves the water and while playing in the pool sports a big smile on her face and is enjoying every minute of it. Diva is dog friendly, although she is partial to the boys and is on her best behavior around them. Diva does not care for cats, so she is looking for a home without them. She could use some training, but Diva is a smart girl and should pickup on her lessons quickly. She walks well on leash and sits pretty for treats, she wants to be a people pleaser. The important thing is to be consistent with her guidance, but with just a little bit of patience and time, she will be your loyal cuddler. Stella is a gorgeous, 4 year old, long-haired gray Tortoiseshell, who was an owner surrender at Hardin County Animal Shelter before being pulled and taken to the Animal Refuge Center. It was obvious that Stella had never been around other cats before and at first she wasn't very good with them. Stella just had a lack of confidence and wanted to feel safe and secure. When Stella was in her cage she was calm and very sweet, but when she got around other kitties she became stressed and doesn't know how to act. We gradually introducing her to other kitties in one on one encounters a little at a time until we were comfortable putting her in a room with a few others. These days Stella is running free in our shelter with the vast majority of our kitties and does just fine, but her ideal home probably doesn't have very many pets and she would be just fine as an only cat. Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. It would be easy to confuse Asia with Jackie, another tiny tuxedo cat here at ARC, but Asia has a personality that is uniquely her own. Asia came to us from another shelter in Kentucky and it took her a little while to adjust to her new surroundings. Not many cats are used to sharing a home with 80 to 100 free roaming cats, not counting the kitties at our rescue that live in rooms and it took Asia a little while to build up her confidence and get used to her new surroundings. Asia has found that she really likes to go outside and she enjoys playing in the yard with our goats and pot-belly pigs. Asia is the type of kitty to sit in your lap and smooch your face, but she doesn't like being picked up. For Asia to relax she has to feel like she is always in control. Asia has undergone quite the transformation since arriving here and she gets along well with other kitties and dogs, but prefers to be her own free spirit and would be happiest in an indoor/outdoor home. Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. Roxanne is a beautiful gray and white, who was a pull from Hardin County Animal Shelter back in February. She arrived at ARC a very pregnant kitty and gave birth to just one baby, a beautiful Calico girl named Paisley. Biologically Roxanne wasn't ready to be a mother and shortly after giving birth to Paisley she had to go to the vet, where she received a shot to induce lactation. Roxanne and Paisley then spent the next 2 months in foster care before returning to the Animal Refuge Center. Roxanne is a calm, quiet, happy-go-lucky kind of gal, who enjoys playing and loves being brushed. She craves attention, but knows she's going to get it and that shows us that she has a bit of confidence about her. Confidence, but not cattitude, because Roxanne loves other kitties and gets along well with everyone. Sometimes it feels like Roxanne has a bit of bunny in her, when she runs up to us as if to initiate a game of tag and then hops away. Roxanne would prefer a home with at least 1 other friendly pet and she does well with both children and dogs as well as other kitties. Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. He's a chill kind of guy, who's very playful and gets along well with other kitties. Paco doesn't do the best job at grooming himself and needs to be brushed frequently, but it's something he enjoys. This gentle boy should do well in a home with cats, dogs or children so he has lots of options when it comes to Paco finding his forever home. This precious little cutie, is a tiny 1 and half year old, named Azalea and she comes to us as a rescue from Hardin County Animal Shelter. Azalea is all about kissing and licking faces, but she also enjoys giving tiny nibbles to the face and a small child may not know how to react to that. Azalea has gotten gentler with age and she understands that she gets all the attention she wants as long as she keeps things gentle and doesn't get rough. Azalea is very social with the other cats here at ARC and wants to be everyone's best friend and the more they want to play with her, the more she likes them! She will most definitely want to be adopted into a home with another playful kitty. You must meet this sweetheart in person to fully appreciate her and once you do, you'll probably want to take her home and to that she asks "What are you waiting for?". Elizabeth came to us from Hardin County Animal Shelter at the beginning of the year, a very shy, but absolutely beautiful girl, who wanted so much to love and trust us, but she needed a little encouragement. This 2 year old has received all of that and more! Elizabeth first made friends with a couple of our Animal Caretakers at our shelter, but it took her awhile before she trusted the rest of us, but she does and more recently she has been making kitty friends with cats such as Wilhelmina. Wilhelmina knows what it's like to be the "wallflower" and because of this, she has really been able to relate to Elizabeth and help her to come out of her shell a bit. Chances are Elizabeth will never be the life of the party, but she does enjoy being talked to and pet and she loves playing with toys. At this point her ideal home is going to be a home without small children, but she will need a friendly outgoing kitty to show her the ropes. We've all felt out of place from time to time and wouldn't it be wonderful to show this girl that she has a place in time for the holidays? Emma is a young, beautiful, medium-sized Tabby, who comes to us as a rescue from Hardin County Animal Shelter and is one of many we will be taking from them to try and help ease their load. Much of her day is spent just looking for someone to play with and the recent adoption of Ariel, means Taffy is also looking for a new buddy and the two should get along great. Emma prefers the quiet of the basement at ARC and you should have no trouble spotting her as she is always around. Emma has zero interest in going outside and would do well as an only cat or in a home with 1 or 2 other kitties. She doesn't mind dogs either and she basically just ignores them, so a home with a cat friendly dog(s) is also a possibility. Percy is a 6 year old FIV (Feline Aids) positive cat. This means that he needs to be your only cat unless you are planning to, or already have other FIV positive cats. FIV can't be passed on to dogs. Percy arrived at our shelter over a year ago and he was brought to us by good supporters. It took Percy a little while to find his place in our FIV Room and you could sense that he felt a little lost. Percy soon found a busy young kitty who enjoyed playing with him and although she has since been adopted, he doesn't feel lost anymore. This large boy is so very sweet and he always wants attention and never quite seems to get his fill of it. While Percy gets along with other cats really well, an ideal home for him is probably with just 1 or 2 other cats. As far as we know he's never been around dogs, but I could see him adjusting in a home with a calm dog. Percy is a pretty big kitty, who could throw his weight around, but he's always a gentleman with us and just wants to find his forever home and be loved. Wilhelmina is the 3rd of Fiesta's daughters and the most reserved of the sisters. She is a little shy and often times it takes another kitty coming up to you first in the Romper Room before Wilhelmina will venture over. Overall she seems to prefer females, but if you find the right toy that might just be enough to entice her over. Wilhelmina is very sweet and wants attention, most times she just needs us to take the lead. She will come around especially when she finds her forever home. Wilhelmina has a lot to offer a calm and patient person and would probably do best in a home that has an outgoing kitty, but could also be an only kitty if her human has plenty of free time. Gidget was a pregnant stray, who was found near a volunteer's home a couple of summers ago and was taken into foster care, before eventually arriving at our rescue. This 3 year old gave birth to 3 awesome little ones, all of whom have found wonderful forever homes, but she has not been so lucky in finding herself a home. Gidget is such a sweet heart and has recently found a new kitty friend in Gingersnap. This has really worked out well for the both of them, as they are each becoming more social with other kitties and humans alike. Gidget really loves attention and most likely when she finds her forever home, she will be a lap-kitty. She is so beauty and she is quite a compact, chunky little kitty who doesn't mind dogs or cats and should do well in a multi-pet home. Fiesta was a Mother cat to 6 babies, who were wandering the streets of Vine Grove, before being rounded up by one of our long-time supporters and coming to live at the Animal Refuge Center a little over a year ago. With this beautiful grey and white around, there is never a dull moment at our shelter. Whether Fiesta's rounding up fallen leaves and bringing them into the house as major hunting trophies to prove her worth, or she is gentle playing with one of our house dogs Fiesta is quite the character. Fiesta is known to be very vocal at times and she can't help but speak her mind. Thankfully it is almost always positive things, as she's almost always in a great mood and is a real source of sunshine. Fiesta is our mascot at ARC and this people-pleaser can remember what life was like before coming to live with us and that gratitude will extend well into her forever home. She gets along well with cats, dogs, livestock and pretty much anything except leaves. Never leaves! These pictures do a great job capturing her personality and she is eagerly awaiting your calls, visits or inquiries. Last summer a beautiful, one year old, black kitty, named Josie came to live at ARC along with her 4 nursing baby kittens. They were rescues that we took in from Hardin County Animal Shelter and by years end all 4 of her sweet, precious babies had found wonderful forever homes. Josie couldn't wait to get her independence back after doing a fantastic job with her children and when it came time for her to join the general population that's exactly what she did. Josie is a free spirit that goes about her day until she wants some attention and when she does, you won't find a sweeter kitty than her. Josie likes to roll over on her back exposing her belly and when you rub her belly, she grabs your hand with her paws and sometimes suck on your finger for a few seconds or maybe just gives you a tiny love bite. Josie's laid-back personality ensures she's well liked at ARC and she never finds herself in any sort of drama. Josie can be quite the talker when she wants your attention and she will be the type to greet you at the door and ask you how your day was. Josie may very well turn into a lap-kitty when she finds her forever home and she gets along with cats and dogs alike so a multi-pet household is certainly an option for her. FIV CAN ONLY BE SPREAD TO OTHER CATS and it involves blood contact such as bites. FIV kitties can live full and normal lives and Bee is a very healthy kitty. Bee never seems to get her fill of attention at our rescue and is a very sweet medium-sized cat. She is a very loving girl, who likes sitting in laps and being pet. Bee has been known to speak her mind, especially when she's being talked to. During the course of the day, a lot of things cross her mind and she's always happy to give you her opinion on them. Lori is about 5 years old and at one time there was no doubt, she was the most misunderstood cat at ARC. Sometimes she would act like she didn't like us, or want any attention, but when we weren't looking, Lori would peek around the corner to see if we wanted to play a game of tag with her. Other times the mere mention of her name would send Lori away grumbling, but when you caught up to her and called her bluff, she'd just lay down, roll over and expose her belly, wanting to be pet and proving that she's not so bad. When Lori came to us, she was very thin and had skin issues and never knew kindness. She had to be a tough girl out on the streets to survive, so if you get too "kissy" with her, she feels like you're ruining her reputation, but that's okay because we know the truth. Lori enjoys the other cats and dogs at the shelter and has turned into our greeter. This means you may not have to look very hard to find her and if you leave your car door open or window down, you may find this little sweetie ready for a car ride. Lori has come such a long way and is so very deserving of a forever home! Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Hello there, it's me Holly back again. I lose track how many times I've been posted, but I'm still looking for my forever home. I'm a small boxer/lab/pit mix since I only weigh about 38 pounds and I am 4 years old. The good people here at the ARC rescued me from a high-kill shelter in Tennessee. I've had a rough past and I can be shy and timid around people, but I'm curious and I do warm up to people it just takes me a little while, but I'm getting better all the time. I'm looking for a person or family who will have lots of time for me and lots of patience and I will give them so much love in return. Currently I spend time in the house at ARC as well as with the dogs in the back. While I do like being inside and think cats are cool, I really love the great outdoors and I 'll happily spend hours out in a yard. Even on cold days I want to be outside, just put me in a warm sweater and give me a dog house and a bowl of water and I'm a happy girl. I get along very well with cats and do fine with calm dogs who aren't constantly in my face. Please come and visit me and don't be surprised if I'm a little shy at first cause I do like the attention. Pepper is looking for a nice quiet home, where she can retire and get more attention then she ever imagined. P.S. she's not a grumpy cat, she just looks that way. 🙂 Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Sometimes it's hard to even see that there's a cat up there, but he'll slowly wake up and lift his head and see what everyone is up to. If his buddy Chester is around, then it's time for him to get down and rub and usually they will proceed to find the nearest human and demand attention. If it's laundry time, well laundry time is just the best and Rico will descend from his high perch and "help" with that chore. Rico has made many new friends that way. Rico can be a little shy when he first meets someone, but he's not a shy cat and it won't take him long to decide he likes you. That's a great thing because you'd be hard pressed to find a more deserving kitty to welcome into your home and Rico likes cats and dogs and is a very outgoing with animals. She leads by example, because she gets along well with the cats and dogs and never is involved in any drama. She doesn't have a dominate personality and I think what makes her queen among the shy cats, is just the love and compassion she shows them. Recently Periwinkle has been coming out of her shell more and more and hopefully this is a sign that her forever home is just around the corner. Most of the time Periwinkle can be found in "her room" and she always looks so surprised when she gets her human time. If the mood hits her just right you may hear a little meow from her, it embarrasses her and is a rarity, but is pretty funny. Since Periwinkle is so social, she is looking for a home with other pets. When Lucy wants attention from you you'll know, she'll give you that look like she is in her first picture. Then she'll start to slyly follow you around until she gets her fill of attention. Lucy can be rather independent at times, but she strongly desires a forever home and hopes it's soon. Lucy gets along with cats and dogs and will do well in a home with a few other pets. Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Jackie is a tiny, but sassy, middle-aged, black and white beauty, who arrived at the shelter a couple of years ago with her two tabby kittens, Goose and Maverick. Both of her kittens have long since been adopted into their forever homes, but for Jackie the search goes on. When she first arrived at the shelter, Jackie was very shy, almost to the point of being feral, but we gave her loads of attention and slowly over time we watched her blossom into the social butterfly she is today. Jackie is a very talkative girl who loves telling you what's on her mind. She also loves sitting in laps and is always happy to see us when we first arrive in the morning. Jackie gets along well with other cats and doesn't mind dogs at all. She is living proof about great things coming in small packages and Jackie will forever stay the size of a kitten. All you have to do is see her one time and she'll make a believer out of you. Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Carlie is a beautiful 4 year old black and white kitty, who really enjoys attention especially from human males. Some days she may look a little cranky, but Miss Carlie is usually in a great mood and when she sees a free lap to sit in that's when she's at her happiest. It took her a while to find her place at ARC and at times she may still feel a little lost in the crowd but her self-esteem is much improved. Carlie get's along well with other cats and is used to dogs, but I think her dream home probably only has one or two other pets and she finally gets treated like the princess that she is. My name is Charlie, I am a 5 year old female tabby cat. I am here to tell you a little bit about me and my life. I make my home at the Animal Refuge Center in Vine Grove. I get really excited when I see my two legged servants come in every morning. Yeah, okay there are other cats here too, but they are MY two legged servants. I have one special human that I have trained. She brushes me every day she comes in, gives me a couple treats, and even sneaks me a little morsel of wet food on occasion. You could say I've got her wrapped around my fingers (ya know...if I had any). She likes to call herself my "sponsor". If it means I get extra attention I'm all for it! I really love lounging in the bay window soaking up some sun, but I like to play sometimes. On a couple occasions I've seen this weird red dot. I don't know why, but I get the sudden urge to pounce on it. It always disappears before I can lay a paw on it. Oh well! Next on the daily agenda is dry food. Yummy! Dry food time is the best time! I really don't go outside, but there is tons to explore at ARC. I don't explore very long, because I'm a little skittish of the other cats. I do have a few friends though like Lori and Rico. I prefer to be by myself when I'm with my humans, but I guess having a friend is a good thing too. I will do well as an only cat, but I can also manage in a home with 1 or 2 other pets. I'm looking for a friend who will take me home and provide for me in the manor I've grown accustomed to. Could that person be you?   Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Cassie loves being talked to and often takes the opportunity to roll over and pose on her back. Just like she is shown in her second picture. She is very social with the animals at ARC and likes both cats and dogs and would prefer to go to a home where she wasn't the only pet. Charity came from a litter of six feral gray kittens. There were 3 boys and 3 girls. While her brother Chase and sister Paula have found homes. Charity has never come around and even though she's only 4 years old, it's very likely she will be at the shelter for the rest of her life. Charity is a good representation of our quiet minority at the Animal Refuge Center that will never find homes. For these cats we rely on sponsorship dollars to feed and house them.   Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Carlos is a 4 year old smoke gray and he comes from a litter of six, who were all smoke gray and everyone of them were feral. At one point Carlos was the shiest one, but these days he's a real sweetheart who wants loving all the time as long as there is quiet and people remain calm. It may take Carlos a moment to warm up to strangers, but once he does watch out, he's very affectionate and will make a wonderful best friend for someone. Carlos can get very vocal at times, like when we pretend we can't see him and ask the question "Where's Carlos?". He gets along real well with other cats and is used to being around dogs. When Skyler chirps, that means he wants your attention. Most of the time Skyler is never very far from his best bud Ernie, but he also likes to hang out with another male kitty at the shelter named Snowy. Skyler and Ernie are often seen curled up together on a coach or in a cat bed here at ARC. Skyler just recently turned 5 and really wants to find his forever home. Gwen can get a little jealous if she feels like she has to compete for attention and just wants to be a spoiled princess. Gwen doesn't mind dogs, but would have no objection to being the only cat in your house, since she doesn't really like other cats very much, but can exist peaceful with one or two other kitties. Gwen likes to suckle on clothes. Yes, it's an odd sight for sure, but also very sweet. You'll just have to see Gwen in action to fully appreciate it. This girl makes very good impressions so come visit her and fall in love. She's come so close to going home a few times throughout the years and Gwen really wants a home of her own. Edison has recently found his way back to the Animal Refuge Center, through no fault of his own, after having been adopted. Eddie has lost track of just how many times he's been adopted, only to return back to ARC within one years time never doing anything wrong. At this point Edison must feel like he has the worst luck in the world but he takes it all in stride. Currently Edison is the largest he has ever been at over 22 pounds and for an 8 year old kitty this isn't a great situation to be in. This sweet boys favorite hobby is eating and unfortunately he has no self-control when it comes to food and needs a home where he is feed a couple times a day instead of being free fed. With Edison's large frame he can be a little intimidating to some cats, but Edison is a gentle giant and likes to keep the peace at ARC. At times Eddie can be seen breaking up fights or protecting kitties that get bullied. Believe it or not this large fellow is a lap cat, but if he's too much for your lap, he will happily sit beside you and receive your full attention. Eddie can be a bit vocal and he will let you know that he's pleased. Edison gets along well with both cats and dogs and will do well in a home with children, or other pets, or as an only child.

Chester is an 11 year old male tuxedo, that is also the leader here at the Animal Refuge Center. This may sound strange to those that don't know, but here at the shelter we are a cage-less facility, meaning that the cats are free to socialize as they please. This can lead to the occasional fight or disagreement, but for the most part the cats here get along. Chester plays a big role in this and because of his love of dogs, he also insists that the cats should be nice to them as well. While Chester does fill a role at the shelter, he strongly desires a home and is very affectionate. Chester may prefer a home where he might be able to go outside occasionally, but he does spend most of his time indoors these days. He will lay in your lap and when you pet him he drools a little, it's so cute! Chester also likes to help with laundry and usually shows up with a buddy or two. You've probably never met a cat quite like him and you're not likely to soon forget him either. When Jestie comes back from one of her many adventures, she is so very loving and always looking for some attention. If she gets caught out in the rain, Jestie will cry at you until you fetch a towel and dry her off. This seemingly independent girl likes a bit of pampering from time to time. A little attention goes along way with Jestie and it won't take much before she'll start to follow you around the shelter. No doubt about it, Jestie is one of the prettiest cats we have here, but Jestie doesn't want to just be admired she wants you to take her home. Cooper is a handsome, 8 year old black and white, tuxedo cat, who really looks good with a bow tie! This charmer and lady's man is the epitome of an affectionate kitty. One thing that makes Cooper unique from other cats, is his love for power tools and heavy equipment. Cooper is a fearless kitty who's not afraid of anything, but he does have respect for the tools. When we had work done on at our shelter, the construction workers gave him the title of "Safety Inspector" a title he proudly holds to this day. Cooper would make a great mascot for a contracting company. All of the maintenance workers that are called to ARC really like him. Cooper would love to have a tool belt of his own and Christmas is right around the corner. If you're a handy man or woman, that's in search of a companion, please come pick up your new best friend. Cooper has been patiently waiting and because he doesn't have the most popular colors he's been at our rescue for years. Cooper i up for any challenges or projects you may have on your to do list. If you've already cleared off your list of chores, Cooper confided in me that he'd also be content to just sit around in "his" man cave watching TV or doing other cool things.   Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots.
