ARC’s Good Mews Monday

First up this week is Leo, our handsome 3-year-old, Basenji/Mountain Cur mix. Leo arrived at the Animal Refuge Center from another rescue within the community. He was originally pulled from a high intake shelter in the Atlanta area, where time was not favorable for him. He’s a sweet boy, who’s waited a long time to finally find his forever home.

Next up we have Boo, our cute little black kitten. Boo was found abandoned in a yard as a tiny kitten and immediately went into foster care where he was bottle fed and his life saved. Boo is such a sweet little boy and so grateful for the kindness humans have already shown him in his life.

Finally we have Maybelline, the beautiful Calico kitten, who went home on Saturday. Maybelline is the daughter of Sara Lee and the sister of Maizie, who went home last week. Sara Lee came to us from Fort Knox a pregnant female who wasn’t able to really nurse her newborn kittens after coming down with mastitis (an inflammation of breast tissue that sometimes involves an infection). With Maybelline being so sweet and outgoing it was only a matter of time before she was adopted, but still great news for her.
