Notes From the Editor:
Summertime is in full swing here at the Animal Refuge Center! So much so that our email subscribers accidentally got an outdated email newsletter last night. We’re trying to catch our breath and get organized. 2016 has felt like a signature year for the pet overpopulation problem, as various groups throughout Hardin County take to social media to promote spaying and neutering even as the dogs, cats, puppies and kittens keep right on rolling in.
But we are enjoying some initial success with our new Cookie’s Legacy Trap-Neuter-Release Program.
