Homer will be 9 years old on the 21st of April, though he has always looked like a little old man, slowly he is becoming one. A couple years ago Homer had to have his teeth pulled and now wet food is a large part of his daily diet. When he first meets you, he can be a little reserved, but the fastest way to his heart is through his stomach. For a cat that wasn’t expected to live past a kitten, Homer is having a great life but does need extra care from time to time.
The success of the Animal Refuge Center’s Sponsor A Pet Program has stood the test of time, and is more important to our work now than ever before. Maybe you don’t have room to adopt another pet at this time. Some of these pets may never, ever find their Forever Home, and the Animal Refuge Center will be the only home they ever have. A lot of these pets have waited awhile, and pets who were previously thought unadoptable have found their home with a stroke of luck. With your Sponsorship, you can help keep a homeless pet safe, warm, fed and loved until they do.
