Friends of Hardin County Animal Shelter is raising money to provide vetting and spay/neuter surgery for the 30 LaRue County dogs rescued from an unfortunate situation late last week. The FOHCAS Medical Fund provides sick and injured shelter pets a second chance, and these dogs are some of the most deserving. All dogs are responding well but must be vetted before finding new homes. The shelter staff and FOHCAS has been humbled by the offer of support from our community.
To donate for these dogs, you can send money via PayPal to FOHCAS.KY@gmail.com, mail a check or money order made out to FOHCAS to P.O. Box 951, Elizabethtown, KY 42702, or bring a check, money order or cash to the shelter at 220 Peterson Drive, Elizabethtown, during adoption hours (12-4, Monday-Saturday).
FOHCAS is a 501c3 public charity. All donations are tax deductible. To learn more about how FOHCAS supports our shelter pets, visit www.FOHCAS.org.
