This is the beginning of our most comprehensive list of pets at the Animal Refuge Center. Since we are a no-kill facility, we often get many hard to adopt cases who are forced to live out the rest of their lives at our shelter. Many of the pets listed here are "Unadoptable" or "Special Needs" pets. You will soon be able to download a picture of your chosen sponsor pet and their stories right from this site!

How to use this site:
Presently work is underway to make it easier to become a Sponsor from our website. Our list of unadoptable or Special Needs pets below will be updated frequently. You may also look at our pets waiting for adoption at http://animalrefugecenter.petfinder.com/, because they need love, too. :)
Ethically, we only take four sponsors per pet, so when our goal of four sponsors per pet is reached that pet's photo will be removed. We never want to lose that "Personal Touch" with our Sponsors, so you will receive an actual photo and story of your pet when your sponsorship payment is received.

Once you have selected the pet or pets you wish to sponsor, you have the option of paying monthly by check or a recurring payment of $10.00 per pet on your credit card of choice.
